These 8 foods will never expire as long as they are stored properly!
1. Rice
“Even if it develops a frighteningly thick layer of dust on the bag or box, the rice inside is just as good as the day you bought it. This is true for white, wild, arborio, jasmine and basmati rice. You healthy eaters out there who prefer brown rice don’t have the same good fortune; its higher oil content makes it turn faster. Just be sure to store in an airtight container to keep out any bugs.” –Huffington Post
2. Honey
“From the dusty depths of King Tut’s tomb, to a fallen Viking’s knapsack, to an Oklahoma supermarket nobody has shopped at since the 1950s, honey, wherever you find it, does not spoil. It might crystallize over time, but just run the jar under some hot water and it’ll magically go back to that sticky golden syrup. If ancient cave paintings are to be believed, humans have been hunting honey for as many as 10,000 years.” –Miami New Times
3. Soy Sauce
Very few people actually knows this but unopened soy sauce does not expire! Next time you look at a bottle notice that the lables often read “Since 1645”, or someother really old year. That’s because soy sauce has been around for ever. “We guarantee you that somewhere in the remote Japanese countryside, there is the skeleton of an ancient warrior with a sword in one hand and a glass container of soy sauce in the other, and you could dunk your dumpling in there and it’d still be good.” –Miami New Times

5. Sugar
“White, brown or powdered — sugar never spoils because it doesn’t support bacterial growth. The real challenge is to prevent it from becoming rock-hard. Keep it fresh: Keep sugar in a cool, dry area. To prevent sugar from hardening after opening, place it in an airtight container or cover the original package in a heavy-duty plastic bag and seal tightly.” –Still Tasty
6. Hard Liquor
“No need to hurry and finish that magnum bottle of rum, hard liquor will keep in a cool dark place for longer than necessary. Your liquor cabinet could itself be an inheritable item, passed down from generation to generation. The liquor may lose its aroma slightly, but not enough for it to be noticeable” –Huffington Post
